The Centre for Enterprise aims to broaden knowledge of the roles of small business and entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development policy within local, regional, national and international economic contexts.
The primary objective of the Centre, however, is to undertake research on key aspects of entrepreneurship, small business management, and economic development policy that have or may have an impact on the Welsh economy.
The Centre for Enterprise has therefore developed considerable research activities with clients from a wide range of industrial organisations and government, particularly in the creation, development and evaluation of entrepreneurship and related activities and policies.
As an institution that works closely with industry and the public sector, staff in the Centre for Enterprise have worked within industry as consultants or as private individual consultants.
